Terry Oliva said: 4/6/2012 10:24:15 PM (GMT) Wow, I finally got around to reading all your stuff! YOU ARE SOOOO GOOD! I totally felt like I was swaying in the building with you in Lima and hanging on to your rugged neighbor in a terrifying moment of panic. Could really relate! And I especially loved the canto to your relationship with Bettina and adored the pics of the Greek landscape. I think I told you that my Grandpa was Greek, named Gabriel Konstantino. Keep up the fantastic work. I want to digest those tomatoes soon!
Deanna Bates said: 2/5/2012 1:10:29 AM (GMT)Dear Kim, I am so excited for you that you're finally ready to promote your wonderful novel. I feel that I have been on a small part of the journey with you since we did the writing c lass together for your first public sharing of your wonderful story. As I said then, your descriptions and characters are so vivid that a reader gets sucked into the world you have created with your words. Congratulations, Deanna
Tom Boaz said: 2/2/2012 3:46:07 AM (GMT)Kim, It was nice running into you today at the gym. Your website looks great and your stories were a refreshing read, about life , real life. Botox and My Best Friend was my favorite. We should all learn to embrace aging. Its a natural part of life. Like who you are at every stage of your life and you will always have a smile to share. I will soon be 50 and plan on being a "good" 50.

Christina Clark said: 1/30/2012 5:36:39 AM (GMT)Dear Kim, Thank you, I just had the cheapest trip to Greece ever. Your excerpts are amazing, so vivid and so detailed. I loved every page except when it stopped...like for Yiayia's story. I can't wait for the book. As I read your pages, I understand better than ever what you meant when you edited my own story so brilliantly. Your text was at the same time magical, funny and sensitive...and so researched!! I truly enjoyed every picturesque details as much as getting to know those women. I had read some prior writings of yours and was really looking forward to your book. I was thrilled! Congratulations, Christina
Alex Rakochy said: 1/29/2012 6:39:12 AM (GMT)You said you would do it! Awesome job Kim. There are so many people who say "I should write a book". There are very few who can actually do it and do it well. The excerpts are excellent. I look forward to reading your first book when it is published! Besos from Baku!!!

dafni said: 1/24/2012 9:37:44 PM (GMT) Dear Kimaki, Nice to see everything proceeding. Now some people can get a taste of your creation, this novel that has so much energy and truth. Thank you for giving me the chance to be one of the few first readers. I enjoyed it all the way, it gave me lots of things to think about and also helped me clear up some things inside. It was like balancing between keeping your feet nicely grounded but at the same time being able to fly... Good luck with it! You sure deserve it! Love Dafnie

Claudia C said: 1/24/2012 6:00:16 PM (GMT) Dear Kim, I first heard about you over 13 years ago, from my boyfriend (and now husband) who was taking your class and loving every minute. He couldn't stop talking about you and I didn't like it or you. Then I met you and you were so pretty, I liked you even less...until I took the time to get to know a smart, funny, engaged and engaging woman whose values and choices I shared. I thoroughly cheered for you when Hugo whisked you off and I cheer you now that you are so knee-deep in the endeavour of publishing your novel. I just took a peek last night and will carry on tonight but I know I will want to read the whole thing. You are talented and, above all, true to yourself and your talent. This knowledge alone won't pay the bills but, as a writer, you couldn't ask for more. Well, a publishing contract. It will come. Claudia

Gaston said: 1/24/2012 3:22:20 AM (GMT) Bravo, bravo, bravo Kim. It has been a long time and I have to say well done. When we first met I thought to myself what a nice friendly woman and you came highly recommended so I chose to take your class. My fondest memory of my time spent with as your student was in hating you, no wait despising you is a better word. I had to work so hard to creep and crawl into every cavity, nook and crevice of my mind and tear open my heart to write the papers you assigned us on top of all the reading assignments required. The only saving grace, I felt at the time, was the creative license you allowed so that I had the freedom to pour out onto the page my essence of being. I spat out all my hatred through the pen (computer). Oh how I hated you. Until the last day of class when I said goodbye and you looked at me and smiled with open arms expecting a hug which, you received and all that anger just vanished. As I told you then and I haven't changed how I feel, if I had to do it all over again, I would still have chosen you to be my professor. It was a brutal jouney with a glorious ending. Because of you I learned a lot about myself youngster. You were the probably the toughest yet one of the best teachers I have ever had. Thanks again Kim and best wishes with your book. gp
